The Good Inheritance

Ecclesiastes 7:11-12 King James Version (KJV)

11 Wisdom is good with an inheritance: and by it there is profit to them that see the sun.

12 For wisdom is a defence, and money is a defence: but the excellency of knowledge is, that wisdom giveth life to them that have it.

Job 28:28New International Version (NIV)

28 And he said to the human race,
    The fear of the Lord—that is wisdom,
    and to shun evil is understanding.”

Romans 1:17 English Standard Version (ESV)

17 For in it the righteousness of God is revealed from faith for faith,[a] as it is written, “The righteous shall live by faith.”[b]

Psalm 49 New International Version (NIV)

Why should I fear when evil days come,

    when wicked deceivers surround me—
those who trust in their wealth
    and boast of their great riches?
No one can redeem the life of another
    or give to God a ransom for them—
the ransom for a life is costly,
    no payment is ever enough—
so that they should live on forever
    and not see decay.
10 For all can see that the wise die,
    that the foolish and the senseless also perish,
    leaving their wealth to others.
11 Their tombs will remain their houses[b] forever,
    their dwellings for endless generations,
    though they had[c] named lands after themselves.

12 People, despite their wealth, do not endure;
    they are like the beasts that perish.

13 This is the fate of those who trust in themselves,
    and of their followers, who approve their sayings.[d]
14 They are like sheep and are destined to die;
    death will be their shepherd
    (but the upright will prevail over them in the morning).
Their forms will decay in the grave,
    far from their princely mansions.
15 But God will redeem me from the realm of the dead;
    he will surely take me to himself.
16 Do not be overawed when others grow rich,
    when the splendor of their houses increases;
17 for they will take nothing with them when they die,
    their splendor will not descend with them.
18 Though while they live they count themselves blessed—
    and people praise you when you prosper—
19 they will join those who have gone before them,
    who will never again see the light of life.

20 People who have wealth but lack understanding
    are like the beasts that perish.

Ecclesiastes 2

1 I said to myself, “Come now, I will test you with pleasure to find out what is good.” But that also proved to be meaningless. “Laughter,” I said, “is madness. And what does pleasure accomplish?” I tried cheering myself with wine, and embracing folly—my mind still guiding me with wisdom. I wanted to see what was good for people to do under the heavens during the few days of their lives.

I undertook great projects: I built houses for myself and planted vineyards. I made gardens and parks and planted all kinds of fruit trees in them. I made reservoirs to water groves of flourishing trees. I bought male and female slaves and had other slaves who were born in my house. I also owned more herds and flocks than anyone in Jerusalem before me. I amassed silver and gold for myself, and the treasure of kings and provinces. I acquired male and female singers, and a harem[a] as well—the delights of a man’s heart. I became greater by far than anyone in Jerusalem before me. In all this my wisdom stayed with me.

Be Released from the Curse

Luke 10:19 King James Version (KJV)

19 Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.

Say these words in your tongue and heart:

Lord Jesus Christ, I believe you are the Son of God and the only way to God. That you died on the cross for my sins and rose again from the dead. That on the cross you are made accursed with every curse that is due to me. That I might be redeemed from the curse and enter into your blessings. Lord I confess any sin committed by me or by my ancestors.  I ask your forgiveness. I also forgive every other persons whoever wronged or harmed me. I forgive them as God forgive me. I also forgive myself.

I renounce all contact with occult in any forms. I commit myself to get rid of any contact  objects.

And, now Lord having received by faith your forgiveness with the authority I have as a child of God. I now release myself and those under my authority from any curse over our lives, right now, in the name of Jesus. I declare release. I claim it. And, I receive it by faith in the name of Jesus.

Confession:

Through the sacrifice of Jesus on the cross, I have passed out from under the curse and entered into the blessings of Abraham whom God blessed in all things.

Thank you Lord Jesus.

For whom the Lord loveth, He correcteth

Is it lawful to the eyes of God to discipline a child with a rod?

Proverbs 23:13-16 King James Version (KJV)
13 Withhold not correction from the child: for if thou beatest him with the rod, he shall not die.
14 Thou shalt beat him with the rod, and shalt deliver his soul from hell.

Proverbs 13:24 King James Version (KJV)
24 He that spareth his rod hateth his son: but he that loveth him chasteneth him betimes.

Proverbs 22:15 King James Version (KJV)
15 Foolishness is bound in the heart of a child; but the rod of correction shall drive it far from him.
